DAY 1 KATHMANDU

17 October, 2017 Tue

Welcome to Nepal. You are landing to Kathmandu, where your journey starts (you can arrive at any time but please note hotel check in time is 2pm). After all immigration formalities and luggage collection, our representative meet you at airport and transfer you to hotel. Today is no planed activities, but we have welcome group meeting at 7pm.

Nepal makes things easy for foreign travellers. It is possible for most nationalities to get a Nepalese visa at the border; you will need at least one passport size photograph and $25 USD.

DAY 2 KATHMANDU

Kathmandu Cultural Walking Tour is the tour where you visit the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies.This walk will take you back to the history of Nepal from the Unification, Rana Regime and scary Royal Massacre, Culture of Nepalese People deeply from the museum.

DAY 3 LUKLA (2,800m/9184ft) TREK TO PHAKDING (2,652m/8,698ft) 3-4 hrs)

After early breakfast you will be transferred to the domestic airport to take the flight to Lukla.  It will be a 35 min scenic mountain flight. After arrival at  Lukla you will tread on the legendary  trail which heads through the alpine valley following the “Dudh Kosi river”. You reach Phakding after 3hrs walk and end our first day of your trek here. The rest of the day you will enjoy yourself strolling around at Phakding.

DAY 4 TREK TO NAMACHE BAZAAR (3,440m/11,283ft) 5-6 hrs)

Today you will gently make an uphill climb through the alpine valley crossing Dudh Kosi River a few times before you reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa -dominated largest settlement of the Khumbu region. On a clear day you will enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Kwangde and Taweche on the way to Namche Bazaar.

DAY 5 NAMACHE BAZAAR (3,440m/11,283ft)

21 October, 2017 Sat

In Namche Bazaar you will spend one extra day for acclimatization before heading to higher altitudes in the Khumbu region. Spending one day rest in Namche is mandatory for every trekker. It gives them a good opportunity to rest, acclimatize and explore around the place. You will  visit to Sherpa museum to know about the Sherpa culture and  the history of mountaineering is very interesting. You can also visit a local marketplace.

DAY 6 TREK TO TENGBOCHE (3,870m/12,684ft) (6 hrs)

22 October, 2017 Sun

Today you will trekking towards the Khumbu region. While trekking you will enjoy mesmerizing views of the Himalayan Mountain range like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku , Kwangde and many other peaks. The trail is more open and wide. We slowly descend to the Dudh Kosi River and stop for lunch at Phunki Tenga. After lunch we climb steeply through a beautiful rhododendron forest (blooms only in spring) for almost 2 hours and eventually reach Tengboche, one of the largest in Khumbu. Here you will visit the monastery and watch how the monks busy themselves performing the Buddhist rituals.

DAY 7 TREK TO DINGBOCHE (4,400m/14,435ft) (6 hrs)

23 October, 2017 Mon

The first stretch of the trek from Tengboche to Dingboche goes through some pretty nice shady forest trails, full of Birches, Conifers and Rhododendrons. The trail continues along the ridge on true right side all the way until we reach Pangboche village, the biggest settlement of Sherpa  in the Everest region. We will have our lunch at Orsho. From this place you will see the first glimpse of Mt. Pumori (7,165m). After lunch you will trek to the wide valley and arrive at  the meeting point of trail to Pheriche and Dingboche. Dingboche is an open valley where you will take another rest area to acclimatize in higher altitude.

DAY 8 DINGBOCHE (4,400m/14,435ft)

Another aclimatizaion day.Exploring the surroundings wide valleys of Chhukung and Imja. You can  hike to either high above to Dingboche peak to view the Dingboche village which is very close to Mount Nuptse. Imja valley links with Island Peak, the high passes of Amphu Laptsa, and Makalu Barun National Park.

DAY 9 TREK TO LOBUCHE (4,900m/16,076ft)(7hrs)

25 October, 2017 Wed

From Dingboche, the trail will move to  north west Khumbu valley and it’s really difficult due to the higher altitude. On the way you will pass through Dungla. From Duglha the trail is steep uphill and we reach the memorial place dedicated to those climbers and trekkers who died while climbing Everest in the past. Then, the trail from this memorial place drops a bit and follows the western side of the valley to Lobuche, a small settlement with mesmerizing views of Mount Lobuche and other peaks.

DAY 10 TREK TO EVEREST BASE CAMP (5364m/17598ft) & BACK TO GOREKSHEP (5180m/16,994ft) (6-8 hrs)

Today’s trek is relatively easy from Lobuche to Gorekshep. But the trail to Everest Base Camp is difficult, because of having rocky dunes and moraine, formed by accumulation of unconsolidated glacial debris. On the way to your dream destination, you will explore the popular Khumbu Glacier and icefall, located on the slopes of Everest. At the Everest Base Camp, you will encounter come climbers waiting to scale the Everest summit. During the spring climbing season, you can take some photographs of unbelievable views of breathtaking Mountains. As the afternoon sun starts to wane, we will take you back to Gorekshep for overnight stay.

DAY 11 OPTIONAL TREK TO KALAPATAR (5,545m/18,192ft) & TREK PHERICHE (4,320m/14,173ft) (5-6 hrs)

Wake up quite early before dawn and begin our excursion to Kalapathar (literally means “black rock”) to see a glorious sunrise over Mount Everest. Morning first light will reflect on Nuptse and Lhotse and it will be the best moment to take amazing photographs of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Then we get back to Gorekshep for breakfast and walk down towards Pheriche for overnight stay. It will be an easy walk.

DAY 12 TREK NAMACHE BAZAAR (3,440m/11,283ft) (7-8 hrs)

28 October, 2017 Sat

After breakfast at Pheriche we start our trek slowly ascending to Tashinga village where we cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi and continue along an easy flat trail to Namche Bazaar. We end our trek for the day on arrival to Namche Bazaar.

DAY 13 LUKLA (2,800m/9184ft) (7-8 hrs)

29 October, 2017 Sun

On this final day’s trek we reach Lukla. It will 7 to 8 hours walk that takes us through the  several villages like  Jorsale, Monjo, Phakding, Ghat, Thado Koshi, and Cheplung. On arrival in Lukla you will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek.

DAY 14 LUKLA - KATHMANDU

30 October, 2017 Mon

This morning you will be transferred to Lukla airstrip for your flight back to Kathmandu. The 40 minute flight to Kathmandu usually leaves early from Lukla but sometimes the flight departure schedule depends on the weather condition. 

Kathmandu, this city is a riot of sights, sounds and smells, which will leave you intoxicated. Visit the temples or roam the hectic streets of the Thamel, either way it won't leave you indifferent.

DAY 15 KATHMANDU

31 October, 2017 Tue

The trip ends on Day 15, there are no activities planned for this day, however the check out time is 12 noon but you could use the hotel to keep your bags if you are out exploring Kathmandu.
