Mexico City is a fascinating capital that beguiles its visitors with endless options. One of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, it might seem a bit overwhelming to the first-time visitor, though it doesn't have to be. Many of the most visited tourist attractions in Mexico City are concentrated in the historic center, including the Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Park. A few blocks north of the Palace of Fine Arts, Plaza Garibaldi is one of the best places in Mexico City to hear live mariachi music.

DAY 3 MEXICO CITY - TEOTIHUACAN

The ruins of Teotihuacan archaeological site are among the most remarkable in Mexico. The Aztecs believed that the gods created the universe in this ancient city that once flourished as the epicenter of culture and commerce during Mesoamerica's Classic period. Explore the ancient Aztec site and climb the pyramids of the Moon and the Sun. Also visit the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe and fascinating Tlatelolco.

DAY 4 SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

After early flight say hello to the Parachico Dancers! In the central highlands of Chiapas, you can find the charming San Cristobal de las Casas. Is a drenched colonial jewel, set high in the mountains is home to Mexican artists, international expatriates and the indigenous Maya, who have populated the highlands that surround it for millennia.

DAY 5 SAN JUAN CHAMULA - SUMIDERO CANYON

Tuesday

Today we visit the communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinancantán with a local guide and learn about this unique way of life. Are two highland villages are the home of the Tzotzil people, descendants of the ancient Mayans, and some of Mexico's most traditional indigenous communities. We visit the church, what floor is covered with pine needles,the air is full of smoke with incense. Shamans come here to carry out cleansings with firewater, ancient prayer and chickens. Villagers can be unfriendly and are wary of tourists - understandably they do not appreciate being regarded as tourist attractions.

Our journey continues to beautiful Sumidero Canyon for a relaxing boat ride. Is a narrow and deep canyon surrounded by a national park located just north of the city of Chiapa de Corzo. We also make plenty stops for the markets to buy beautiful traditional Mayan textiles.

DAY 6 SCENIC JOURNEY - PALENQUE

Wednesday

Travel towards the jungle of Palenque along a windy road by private minivan via Agua Azul. Your full-day journey leaves San Cristobal de las Casas at around 07:00 for the 90-minute transfer to Agua Azul. When you reach this series of glittering cascades you’ll have free time to immerse yourself in the pools, and later you’ll see Misol Ha, the highest waterfall in Mexico. A scenic travel day through the mountains takes us to the outskirts of Palenque.

The Palenque archeological site, one of the state's most important tourist destinations, and one of the most significant ruins in the entire Mundo Maya. Today you visit the ruins of Palenque, located on the first rise of the Tumbala mountains, set deep in the jungle.

DAY 7 PALENQUE / MERIDA

Welcome to Mérida, arrive in the afternoon after crossing the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, and Campeche to the vibrant capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán.

This city of about a million people shuts down major thoroughfares on a weekly basis for free street festivals, concerts, dancing, interactive shows, vendors, pedestrianism, and biking.

DAY 8 MERIDA - CUZAMA

A Mayan in Merida highly recommended the cenotes outside the village of Cuzama. In the town of Homun where you will visit a completely underground cenote which you will access by what is probably the best stairway in a cenote in all of Yucatan. Then, off to the village of Chunkanan where you will board horse-drawn railway carts that take you into the underbrush and to one of the original cenotes featured on the now-defunct three cenotes tour.There will be plenty of time for swimming and enjoying these natural wonders with their crystal clear blue water.

Playa del Carmen is known mainly for powdery white sand beaches, azure waters, some nightlife and a laid back vibe. You're going to love this paradise… everyone does,there are so many things to do. Relax and swim in the Caribbean Sea,  snorkelling among the mangroves. Visit fascinating Mayan archaeological site of Tulúm. Buy souvenirs in famous 5th avenue that runs through town and is lined with shops. Feast on seafood in restaurants, bars with palm trees and twinkly lights. Make sure your vacation in Playa del Carmen is filled with amazing memories for long.
